The ISDN Switch-Off
At the end of 2017, BT announced its intention to close the Public Switched Telephone Network.
The affected products includes the Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN). The majority of UK businesses use ISDN for their communications!

Delivering voice and data services simultaneously on digital lines, ISDN is now considered as an old-fashioned method of communication. So, ISDN is being removed, and replaced with the latest IP technologies.

In 2023, ISDN will no longer be sold to businesses customers. Any business wanting to expand using their traditional telephone systems will have to move to new, alternative products.
