England Over 50s Cricket Team at the Caribbean Cup
Giles Ecclestone: Top Row, Second from Right

Ocean Telecom’s Sales Director competes in the Caribbean Cup as part of the Over 50’s England Cricket Team.

About Giles Ecclestone

Before starting at Ocean Telecom in 2002, Giles was a professional cricketer playing for Essex and, later on, South Africa. He continued playing after retiring from full-time and joined the Over 50’s England Cricket Team in 2019.

He has seen amazing scores over the years, including the highest score ever in official over-50s cricket which is one of the reasons why he was selected for the England Squad. Now, he is taking part in the Caribbean Cup and hoping to take England all the way!

About the Caribbean Cup

Between the 2nd November – 11th November, the Caribbean Cup sees 8 teams from around the world compete for the title.

Based in Barbados, every game is played on top quality grounds exploring Kensington Oval. There are 20 games altogether, comprising 12 games in the league stage, 6 in the playoffs and 2 final games.

Split into 2 groups of 4, you will find Wales, India, USA and the West Indies in Group A and England, UAE, Canada and WI President XI in Group B. England have won all their matches since the 2020 World Cup, so have a great chance at seeing another great success.
