Last month, our Engineer Jay Ryan and his family collected over 100 toys for the Salvation Army Christmas Present Appeal! We’re incredibly proud of Jay’s efforts and we’re so pleased we could help spread Christmas joy to those families who need it most.

What is the Salvation Army Christmas Present Appeal?
Throughout the festive period, the Salvation Army launch their Christmas Present Appeal where they collect donated presents until mid-December. By donating new, unwrapped toys and children’s gifts, those who may go without at Christmas will be able to receive wrapped presents on Christmas day.
Since the introduction of the Christmas present appeal, millions of children and young people have benefited from this. Due to the cost of living crisis this year, it was expected that more families would benefit from their toy donations. Every child deserves a new gift at Christmas and the Salvation Army strives to make this happen and make a difference in someone’s life at Christmas.
How Jay Achieved His Toy Collection
Jay called upon his fellow colleagues and team members to help build his toy collection of over 100 gifts and presents for less fortunate families. His partner also collected at her place of work, which helped towards this amazing final total!
Because of the cost of living crisis we just wanted to give as many children a Christmas gift as possible, PS, I don’t like to talk about my charity work.
