Ocean Telecom Donates £500 of PE Equipment to Heartsease Primary Academy
We’re proud to share some lovely news closer to home: Ocean Telecom has donated £500 worth of PE equipment to Heartsease Primary Academy in Norwich, helping bring a bit more energy to the school’s outdoor lunchtime provision.
The donation came about through Places for People’s social value programme, who helped connect us with the school. It’s already making a difference — pupils have been making the most of their new kit, with a few lunchtime dance parties spotted on the school field as a result.
Olivia Gillard, Head of School at Heartsease Primary Academy, said the support has been hugely appreciated, helping the children stay active and engaged during their breaks.
It’s exactly the kind of cause we love getting behind. Supporting the communities around us is something we take seriously at Ocean Telecom, and we’re delighted to have played a small part in helping Heartsease pupils get moving.
