Steven Bradford
Steve started in telecoms as an engineer in 1988, and his career evolved through local and national management within the technical arena. Today, Steve heads the team at Ocean Telecom together with Lisa, Giles and Michelle. When not at work, he can generally be found at his local golf club, or tinkering in the garage. He loves anything with an engine. He also loves Man U (Lisa’s fault), Ipswich Town, and still plays on the XBOX. Yes, he’s an old gamer!

Lisa Bradford
Lisa began her career in Telecoms in 1991 in administration, and moved on to undertake a number of management roles. Lisa moved to accounts when Ocean was formed and now oversees all financial matters for the business. Lisa is a keen walker, enjoys watching sport (Man U), reading, crime dramas, and of course dogs. She loves wildlife, and her garden is full of birds & animals, including Foxes, Badgers & Hedgehogs.
Sales Director
Giles Ecclestone
Giles was formally a professional cricketer, playing for Essex, and then in South Africa. He entered Telecoms in sales at a Suffolk based company more than 20 years ago, where he first met Steve and Lisa and rose through the ranks to become Sales Manager. Giles joined Ocean as its sales director shortly after it was founded. He is a keen sportsman, and retains strong links with cricket through his home club, Essex, England over 50’s, and the MCC.

Michelle Ecclestone
Michelle has worked within finance for a number of years, and is now responsible for managing all billing functions.
Michelle loves the outdoors, spending times with her family, and looking after her baby grandson Freddie. Michelle is a South African native, and gets back as often as she can to see her family, and enjoy the beautiful weather!
Operations Manager
Steve Murfitt
Steve Murfitt began working with Steve Bradford in 1997 as an engineer and moved to join Ocean Telecom when it was founded in 2002. Steve has a very broad telecom and IT background and held senior engineering positions before taking on his current role in 2016. Steve keeops abrest of all the latest developments in the ICT space and has become office guru for all things technical. He is a dedicated family man, loves sport, enjoys snowboarding, taking part in Mud Runs, and Newcastle United
Sales Manager
Colin Penston
Colin began his telecom career at NTL, dealing with large corporate clients. He joined Ocean in 2005, and was promoted to Sales Manager in 2016. Colin’s experience in telecoms spans all aspects of Ocean’s portfolio. He continues to support a number of key clients, as well as undertaking his management duties. Colin loves living by the sea, Arsenal football club, and spending time with his family in Suffolk.
Account Manager
Matt Stanbridge
Matt joined the team in 2018. Matt had previously worked within Telecoms, so brought with him a broad understanding of the products we offer, along with how customers benefit with their correct implimentation. Matt fitted in quickly with the team here at Ocean. He’s a great Account Manager, and looks after many local businesses.
Outside of work, Matt is a huge sports fan. Matt’s a Chelsea supporter (never easy), an avid golfer, and being a Newmarket native, a keen Horse racing follower.

Thomas Jacob
Thomas is a dedicated member of our sales team, with a strong background in technology. After working in audio-visual industry for over 12 years, he was looking for a new challenge and Ocean fitted the bill perfectly. Outside of work, Thomas is passionate about football and enjoys playing in a local pool league. A proud father to a 5-year-old son, he cherishes spending quality time with his family. He’s partial to a bit of running & cycling but only when it’s sunny, above 10 degrees and not windy!

Jack Newson
Jack is a Customer Account Manager who believes that top-tier service, a positive attitude and a sense of humour should always go hand-in-hand. Jack boxed up his life to trade Essex for a brand-new chapter in Suffolk with his partner, and when the workday wraps up, his heart belongs entirely to the pitch – specifically, Wolves FC. If you need exceptional account support, a guaranteed smile, or someone to passionately analyse the latest Wolves match, Jack is your guy!

Dave Wakerell (& Alfie)
Dave has been with us from day one, so 24 years at the time of writing! Quite something! He started as a trainee engineer, and has developed his skills working with customers of all types and sizes over the course of his career to become a very valued member of the team. He loves Rugby, The Arsenal, & family, which of course includes Alfie!

Jay Ryan
Jay joined in 2006. Jay is an Ipswich native. Ipswich has a population of around 150,000, and Jay seems to know all of them! Jay loves being an engineer, and enjoys the variety of work that Ocean offers, along with meeting interesting people day in, day out.
He loves the gym, travelling, and spending time with his family.

Neil Woods
Neil began his telecoms training with Steve Bradford back in 1988. He installed & maintained countless systems over the years, and has taken this core knowledge forward to provide fantastic desk based support for our customers.
Neil is a dedicated family man. He enjoys Motorsport, Football & Golf. He’s also a very keen car detailer. His car puts the rest of ours to shame!

Jamie Kelly
Jamie joined us in 2012 after a career working for a large insurance company. Jamie’s primary role is provisioning the services we supply from our extensive list of suppliers. This is a very detail driven role, and Jamie has the right stuff for the job.
Outside of work, Jamie is a huge Liverpool fan, and as you can see, he seems to strive for the “Klopp” look!
That aside, he’s a dedicated father, and spends most of his time with his son Leo.

Craig Potten
Craig joined the team in 2014. He has extensive in-depth knowledge of our products, as well as a broad understanding of IT and networking. In a previous life, Craig was a professional gamer, competing in Call of Duty. He still enjoys gaming, watching movies, and spending time at home with his family.

Stanley Bradford
After the loss of our previous office mascot, Buddy (retired but never forgotten), the slot was never going to remain free for long. Following an intensive recruitment drive, 7 year-old Stanley came to Steve & Lisa’s attention at The Dogs Trust. Whilst Stanley had had a difficult career up to this point, he deserved a chance, and joined the team at the beginning of June 2024. When he’s awake, not chasing delivery drivers, or chewing the company stock of golf balls, he provides all the smiles we need to get through the day.
