Call Forwarding
Q. How do I forward my calls?
A. Lift the handset and press DND/FWD or dial 501 then press 1
- Internal – Enter an extension number or hunt group number
- Voicemail – Enter 801 to forward straight to voicemail
- External – Enter the telephone number or press the SPEED button and enter the speed dial number
Call Logs
Q. How do I access the call logs?
A. Press the button labelled as Call Logs or dial 537. Then scroll through the list of calls using the volume up and down buttons. Press Hold/Save to dial the number currently shown in the display.
To program a button on your phone for Call Logs follow the ‘Programming Buttons’ section
Conferencing (Adhoc)
Q. How do I setup a conference call?
A.
- With a caller on the line press the button labelled ‘Speed/Conf’
- Call the next party in usual way for either an internal or external number.
- When the next call is answered the conference will be connected
- Repeat the process for any additional parties
Do Not Disturb
Q. How do I enable DND?
A. Press the DND/FWD button or dial 504 to enable or disable
To program a button on your phone for DND follow the ‘Programming Buttons’ section
Headset
Q. How do I enable headset mode on my phone?
A. Press the Headset button to enable or disable (a headset image will appear in the display to indicate its in headset mode)
Holding Calls
Q. How do I put a call on hold?
A. Whilst on a call press Hold/Save button, you can then replace the handset. To return to the call press the Hold/Save button or the flashing Call button
Picking up a Call
Q. How do I pickup a ringing call from my phone?
A. To pickup a call ringing elsewhere, either:
- Press the button assigned as Pick Up
- or
- Dial 510 to pickup calls in your group
- or
- Dial 511 followed by the extension number or 511 then a pre-programmed button for an extension
Programming Buttons
Q. How do I program buttons on my phone for extensions or groups?
A. To program a button:
- Press Menu (if you do not have a menu button press Transfer) then
- Press the button you wish to program
- Then dial 2
- Enter the extension number or group number
- Then press Hold
- Press Menu (if you do not have a menu button press Transfer) then
- Press the button you wish to program
- Then dial 2
- Enter one of the codes below
- Then press Hold
- 537 – Call Logs
- 533 – Record Call
- 504 – DND
- 510 – Group Pickup
- 501 – Forward Calls
Ring Tone
Q. How do I change the ring tone on my phone?
A. You can change the Internal and External ring tones to be different
- To change the Internal ring tone press TRANS/PGM 2 1 1 then dial the one digit ring tone 1 – 8 then press Hold/Save to store
- To change the External ring tone press TRANS/PGM 2 1 2 then dial the one digit ring tone 1 – 8 then press Hold/Save to store
Ring Volume
Q. How do I change the ringing volume on my phone?
A. With the handset down press the volume up and down buttons whilst your phone is ringing until you get to the volume you require.
Transferring a Call
Q. How do I transfer a call?
A. Whilst the call is live on your phone press the Transfer button then:
- To transfer to an internal extension dial the extension number
- To transfer to an external number dial 9 then the telephone number
- To transfer to a mailbox press Transfer then Message then the extension number
Voicemail (Access)
Q. How do I access my own voicemail?
A. Press the Message button then 2 or dial 801 then enter your extension number and passcode
Voicemail (Greeting)
Q. How do I change my greeting?
A. To change your greeting:
- Press the Message button then 2 or dial 801 then enter their extension number and passcode
- Dial 2 to set greeting
- Follow the prompts to listen, re-record, save etc.
Voicemail (New Messages)
Q. How do I access new messages?
A. Your Call button or Message button will be flashing to indicate a new message. Then either press the Call or Message button then dial 2 then enter your extension number and passcode.
Press 1 to listen to new messages and follow prompts.
Voicemail (Options)
Q. What options do I have whilst listening to a message?
A. You have the following options at the end of the message:
- 1 – delete the message
- 2 – replay the message
Voicemail (Passcode)
Q. How do I change my voicemail passcode?
A. To change your passcode:
- Press the Message button then 2 or dial 801 then enter their extension number and passcode
- Dial 3 to change your passcode
- Follow the prompts to listen, re-record, save etc.
Voicemail (Save Messages)
Q. How do I access my saved messages?
A. Press the Message button or dial 801 then dial 2 and enter your extension number and passcode.
Then press 1 to listen to new messages then 1 again for saved and then follow prompts
Ocean Cloud System Features
Conference Rooms
This allows you to have one of your telephone numbers allocated for conferencing. The conference rooms are accessed via a pin code and you can have multiple callers dialling into the conference at any one time. Internal users will dial the internal number i.e 7001, external callers will call the assigned direct dial number.
You can have multiple conference rooms all with different pin codes.
Internal calls will be prompted to enter the code. External callers will need to enter the code when they hear the broken dial tone
Music on Hold
This will be what plays when you put callers on hold. You can find more information and free of charge files from the link below.

Company Directory
If you require names and numbers importing centrally into the system then please download and complete the Excel file from the below link and send to us.

When completing the form only fill in the following:
- First Name and Last Name
- Under ‘Work’ enter the telephone number without spaces
- Under ‘Group Speed Dial’ enter them sequentially starting at 0000
- Under ‘Select Group Speed Dial’ type Work

UCE Mobile App - ioS
From the App Store download the app named ‘iPECS UCE’
When you open the app add the ID and password for your account to the ‘ID’ and ‘Password’ fields and select the ‘Auto Login’ option.
Then click the menu icon in the top right and select ‘Server’ then add the server address as 185.110.180.16
Go back to the login page and select Done and then you can select Login at the bottom. You should then be logged in with options along the bottom including Call. You can test by dialling another internal number or an external number.
UCE Mobile App - Android
From the Google Play store download the app named ‘iPECS UCE’
When you open the app add the ID and password for your account to the ‘ID’ and ‘Password’ fields and select the ‘Auto Login’ option.
