This user guide explores the fundamental capabilities of the iPECS 1040i, including streamlined calling, voicemail access, conferencing tools, directory lookups, and flexible key programming. From transferring calls and managing messages to quick dialing and multi-user conferences, the 1040i helps keep your workflow smooth and professional.

  • Multiple Audio Modes
    Choose your preferred method of communication—via the standard handset, hands-free speakerphone, or headset mode (activated with a single button press that illuminates when in use).
  • Call History & Redial
    Press the “Log” button under the display or dial 537 to view missed, received, or dialed calls. To redial the last number quickly, press the dedicated redial key beneath the screen.
  • Voicemail Access & Call Recording
    Retrieve messages by pressing the Message button (then dialing 2) or by dialing 801. Change greetings, manage saved messages, and update your passcode through easy-to-follow prompts. Call recording can be programmed via a button using feature code 533.
